First, let me start off by saying that the ENTIRE series of "alliterative color ideas" you have done has been a treat to watch. While working only with one color palette can be a daunting task for any artist, you seem to have not only overcome the perceived boundary, but shined because of it!

That said, you ear a great deal many points in vision and originality for that alone. Using the purple tones throughout the entire image makes every flow together in a lovely, serene sort of comforting feeling. The subtle boundaries between the subject and the background are clearly defined, though not overbearing. Even the skin tone seems to come from this same color palette! Everything seems to be part of a whole, which gives the piece a great sense of solidarity.

As for technique, I have greatly enjoyed watching that progress. Each piece has seen crisper lines, more detail-work done in a convincing manner, and a stylistic approach that becomes more and more your own. Every detail here is considered, from the lace on the corset to the frills on the bottom of the skirt. Her hair and facial expression are a good match for the color palette used, and the clothing she wears. Not only that, but everything looks very sultry and believable.

On the one hand, I could say that this piece is reminiscent of mid-1900's pinup models. If that alone were the focus, then this would not be a very original piece. However, by forcing yourself to work both within a time limit and a limited palette, you have forced yourself to use only minor influences from other sources. That you managed all this within two hours alone is impressive!

And finally, let me conclude by saying that this is simply a stunning piece. From her playful wink to the colors that somehow make the entire piece it's own expression, there is little more to be said than "WOW!".

I look forward to watching further speed painting, and I especially look forward to watching your skills develop even more keenly! You are already an impressively talented artist, and further practice will only make that all the more apparent.
